Title: Psychrometric limits to prolonged work in protective clothing ensembles / W.L. Kenney... [et al.]
Notes: Sumario: When work is performed by workers in protective clothing, sweat evaporation is limited and body temperature rises. In an attempt to quantify the limits such ensembles place on safe work, 6 acclimated men and women walked at 30% VO2 max in 2 protocols involving environmental transients. The purpose of the present study was to determine critical environmental limits for safe prolonged work in four such clothing ensemblesRelated records: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 49, nº 8, August 1988 ; p. 390-395Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes físicos Temperatura Calor Ropas Ejercicio físico Condiciones de trabajo Confort térmico Otros autores: Kenney, W.
