<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Paraquat has been extensively used as a herbicide in Taiwan because of its superior herbicidal effect. 4,4'-bipyridine is the major intermediate product in paraquat manufacturing. In this paper, the development and validation of an air-sampling method that used XAD-2 for the collection of 4,4'-bipyridine gas is described.
