<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Cet article présente la mise en oeuvre de la technique de mesure MIRE (Microphone In the Real Ear); cette méthode apparaît bien adaptée à la mesure de l'affaiblissement acoustique des cagoules de protection respiratoire. Les résultats obtenus montrent la faible capacité de ces protecteurs à atténuer le bruit. Ils soulignent par conséquent la nécessité d'une protection spécifique de l'ouïe chez les utilisateurs de cagoules lorsqu'ils sont exposés à des niveaux de pression acoustique supérieurs aux limites réglementaires</abstract>
