Sumario: Excessive exposures to lead, originating from the use of conventional, nonjacketed, lead bullets in insufficiently ventilated, indoor firing ranges, pose a health hazard to shooters, instructors, and personnel who work in firing ranges. A study was conducted to evaluate the feasibility of reducing or eliminating airborne lead concentrations at a covered, outdoor firing range by using totally copper-jacketed ammunition
