Sumario: The performance of an air-cleaner for the control of radon progeny in dwellings and in laboratory spaces has been investigated in a walk-in radon/thoron test facility. The air cleaner consists of a fan and a special filter material sandwiched between two metal screens to which an electric field is applied. The filter is the polarized fibre-glass media type
