<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El Gobierno español consideró que el cumplimiento de la Resolución A/42/169 constituía una oportunidad para intensificar el desarrollo de actuaciones de esta naturaleza en nuestro país, así como participar en la acción internacional, en relación especialmente con los países en desarrollo. El Pleno de la Comisión Nacional de Protección Civil acordó el funcionamiento como Comité Español del Decenio Internacional para la Reducción de Desastres Naturales. Dicho acuerdo, refrendado por el R.D. 1301/1990, de 26 de Octubre, establece unos fines adecuados a la situación española</abstract>
