<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La intención de este trabajo es acercar este tipo de seguro, poco utilizado, a su posibles contratantes, actualizar otros estudios y comentar algunos de los problemas que surgen en la práctica diaria, señalando las soluciones adoptadas, para una liquidación, con criterios uniformes, de las reclamaciones que se puedan presentar. Tres son los mercados dominantes de este tipo de seguros: el inglés, el noruego y el americano, y en cada uno se utiliza un clausurado estándar diferente cuya redacción se basa en su respectivo ordenamiento jurídico y en los usos y costumbres del propio entorno asegurador</abstract>
