<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La banca está viviendo un proceso de adaptación rápida a un nuevo escenario, el del siglo XXI. En este proceso están jugando seis fuerzas. De ellas cuatro tienen naturaleza estructural, y otras dos son de carácter coyuntural. Las fuerzas estructurales son: el cambio en las necesidades y gustos de los clientes, el aumento imparable de la competencia, el impacto de la regulación y la internacionalización creciente de la industria bancaria. Y las dos fuerzas coyunturales son: un entorno de crecimiento económico desigual y unos muy bajos tipos de interés. El impacto de estas seis fuerzas está dibujando una nueva era para el negocio bancario, suponiendo una previsible transformación y un enfrentamiento a grandes retos de supervivencia frente a nuevas formas de prestación de los servicios financieros. Para dar respuesta a estas fuerzas se dan 10 recomendaciones</abstract>
