<abstract displayLabel="Summary">The Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission are paying closer attention to musculoskeletal disorders and remedies, and each agency has plans for stiffer penalties for those companies that fall short. In response, employers are taking a closer look at how ergonomics efforts can help them comply with parts of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the upcoming OSHA ergonomics standard, which is expected to be final within the next year</abstract>
