<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La inundación de la factoría de Alicante de la Empresa Nacional del Aluminio (ENDASA), derivada de las lluvias torrenciales producidas en la zona por la tristemente famosa "gota fría" de 1982, fué clasificada por la Administración Pública como siniestro extraordinario. A este siniestro le cupo el dudoso honor de ser, en su fecha, el siniestro industrial más caro de la historia de España y el número uno en la industria mundial del aluminio. El caso que se presenta en este estudio aporta múltiples enseñanzas respecto a cómo acometer las acciones de recuperación de la normalidad con la mayor eficacia y en el menor tiempo posible</abstract>
