MAP20071022857Weeks, James L.Estimating possible fraud in coal mine operators'samplers of respirable dust / James L. WeeksSumario: Coal mine operators are required to sample miners'exposure to respirable dust on a regular basis. A method has been developed for screening all operator samples for detecting possible instances of fraud. This method relies on the occurrence of very low concentration samples more frequently than expected. This article describes and applies a statistical method both for estimating the magnitude of fraud and for identifying individual mines from which operators may be submitting fraudulent samplesEn: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 56, nº 4, April 1995 ; p. 328-3321.
