Section: ArticlesTitle: Development and evaluation of a source/sink model of indoor air concentrations from isothiazolone-treated wood used indoors / Michael A. Jayjock... [et al.]Notes: Sumario: The objective of this study was to devise and evaluate physical-chemical models of exposure in both glass chambers and real-world rooms to understand the critical difference between these two environments. It was hoped that this would allow prediction of exposure for virtually any scenario. The authors hope this preliminary work will be compelling to the scientific and regulatory community here and overseas and ultimately will result in a significantly higher level of refinement with a concomitantly lower level of forced conservatism in the estimation of exposure and putative risk from these applicationsRelated records: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 56, nº 6, June 1995 ; p. 546-557Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrialAmbiente de trabajoRecintos cerradosContaminantes orgánicosContaminación del aireModelos analíticosOtros autores: Jayjock, Michael A.
