<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La intención de este artículo es informar a los abogados norteamericanos en ejercicio sobre la evaluación y los litigios de casos de responsabilidad civil de productos que impliquen el Síndrome del Túnel Carpiano. En estos momentos dichos litigios son todavía poco frecuentes, pero el cada vez mayor conocimiento por parte del gran público sobre el STC y los trastornos traumáticos acumulativos relacionados (TTC) o sobre las lesiones por esfuerzos excesivos repetitivos (LER) en los Estados Unidos, Europa, Australia, etc., llevará inevitablemente a una mayor frecuencia, con claras implicaciones para los profesionales de la ergonomía</abstract>
