<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Après une présentation de critères de reconnaissance des signaux sonores de danger dans le bruit, l'auteur considère deux situations où la non-perception de ces signaux serait à l'origine, chaque année, de plusieurs accidents mortels: les chantiers de travaux publics où les ouvriers ne percevraient pas les signaux de recul des engins et les chantiers de voies ferrées où les ouvriers ne percevraient pas les signaux d'annonce de l'approche d'un train. Sont examinés, dans chaque cas: les conditions de travail et de survenue des accidents, les points essentiels de la réglementation existante, les recommandations et solutions préconisées pour réduire les accidents, en remplacement ou en complément d'une amélioration de la mise en oeuvre des signaux sonores d'avertissement d'un danger</abstract>
