The authors develop an apply two survey instruments to gather data from some high school students and colleagues of teachers who participated in the Insurance Education High School Teachers Workshop. The survey instruments refine and extend Barrese's and Thrower's (1993) questionnaire of participants. Preliminary results show that the workshop experience does not significantly impact colleagues of workshop participants, but that substantial attitude and awareness improvements are reported by students taking classes that have some insurance content and that are taught by workshop participants1.
