<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Une station d' écophysiologie utilise des chambres climatiques pour effectuer des recherches sur les plantes fourragères. Dans ces chambres climatiques, tous les paramètres qui peuvent influencer le développement des plantes, en particulier le rayonnement solaire, sont contrôlés. Le rayonnement solaire est reproduit artificiellement à l'aide d'un caisson lumineux équipé de 4 tubes fluorescents et de 18 lampes aux halogénures métalliques de 400 W, à double enveloppe de verre. Les rayonnements optiques peuvent provoquer des affections dont la nature et le siège dépendent essentiellement de leur longueur d'onde. Les effets des rayonnements ultraviolet sont susceptible de provoquer des affections oculaires et des affections cutannées</abstract>
