<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El entorno bancario español está sufriendo un intenso proceso de cambios que repercute sobre la competencia de las entidades que lo constituyen. Los factores estratégicos que influyen sobre el sector bancario son: el grado de rivalidad, la aparición de nuevos competidores y las barreras de entrada, la aparición de nuevos servicios sustitutivos y el poder de negociación de proveedores y clientes. La nueva situación exige la aplicación de un análisis estratégico que nos sirve para detectar las estrategias más apropiadas a llevar a cabo</abstract>
