Section: ArticlesTitle: Reproducibility of body temperature response to standardized test conditions when assessing clothing / Maurice Jetté... [et al.]Notes: Sumario: The purpose of this study was to assess the reproducibility of body temperature in five subjects wearing either athletic clothing or a chemical protective overgarment while exercising at 20ºC and at 40ºC. Results indicated that mean group change in rectal temperature appeared to be reproducible for both garment ensembles at 20ºC but not at 40ºC. It was concluded that the use of core temperature to assess heat stress imposed by wearing clothing during exercise may lead to erroneous conclusionsRelated records: En: Ergonomics. - London and Washington. - Vol. 38, nº 5, May 1995 ; p. 1057-1066Materia / lugar / evento: ErgonomíaTemperaturaTermorregulaciónEstrés térmicoEjercicio físicoConfort térmicoOtros autores: Jetté, Maurice Secondary titles: Título: Ergonomics Other categories: 875Rights: In Copyright (InC)
