<abstract displayLabel="Summary">En este trabajo, se propone el aprovechamiento energético, por combustión directa, de diferentes residuos agrícolas generados en Extremadura. Para ello, con el fin de que dicho aprovechamiento sea viable técnica y económicamente, en primer lugar se seleccionan aquellos cultivos que generan cantidades significativas de biomasa residual, se evalúan y localizan los residuos, se determinan sus características energéticas y se ensaya su combustión en una planta real. Por último, se analiza la viabilidad económica de la sustitución de combustibles sólidos convencionales por algunos de estos residuos</abstract>
