<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Parmi les dernières innovations, les sprinkleurs dits ESFR (Early Suppresion-fast response): extinction précoce-réponse rapide, présentent un mode de fonctionnement particulier. Ils ont été conçus pour lutter contre les feux à développement rapide et de sévérité très élevée. Leur objectif: éteindre le feu et non plus le contenir comme pour les installations traditionnelles. Avec un temps de réponse plus court face à l'élévation de température, ils attaquent directemente de feu en projetant treès rapidement une grande quantité d'eau avec une distribution améliorée par rapport aux sprinkleurs traditionnels</abstract>
