520  ‎$a‎When people have been asked to detect parafoveal luminance changes in the visual periphery their reaction times are significantly faster when the location of the impending stimulus has been correctly forecast by an external precue relative to the latency produced when the precue information has been incorrect. Forty university student participated in a spatial precue task that employed foveally delivered stimuli and precues.
