<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Se pretende aportar una solución a los problemas de los seguros no vida pendientes. El presente es un resumen de un artículo presentado en el reciente Congreso Internacional de Actuarios celebrado en Birminghan, con el título "la duración y el modelo actuarial". La solución propuesta se apoya en el modelo actuarial de los seguros no vida a largo plazo, cambiando lo que hay que modificar, la tabla de mortalidad por una tabla de siniestralidad prospectiva, adecuada al riesgo de que se trate</abstract>
