Medical groups while somewhat supportive, believe the standard downplays the role of the medical professional. For his part OSHA chief Charles Jeffress seems pleased the standard is done and believes it accomplishes the goals originally set forth by Labor Secretary Elisabeth Dole more than 10 years ago
