<abstract>Tras los atentados contra las Torres Gemelas se plantea la pregunta de si se pueden construir edificios seguros ante este tipo de ataques. El artículo nos ofrece las opiniones de ingenieros estructurales. Se llega a la conclusión de que la estructura estaba preparada para el impacto, pero no para el incendio posterior pese al revestimiento de hormigón que tenía la estructura de acero</abstract>
