<abstract>La conversión de MAPFRE en sociedad anónima, le dota de una nueva estructura corporativa que le permita ampliar sus actividades y expansión internacional con el objetivo de alcanzar un puesto entre las grandes aseguradoras europeas y mundiales. La operación contempla la integración de todas las actividades del grupo en Corporación MAPFRE (que pasará a denominarse MAPFRE S.A.) y el control mayoritario de dicha sociedad cotizada por FUNDACIÓN MAPFRE, sin beneficio especial para ninguna de las personas que trabajan del grupo, como establecen los Estatutos Sociales desde hace 50 años</abstract>
