<abstract>Las salpicaduras químicas sobre la piel o los ojos, tanto en el ámbito industrial como en la población en general, son un verdadero problema que ocasiona dolor, tratamiento médico o quirúrgico contra las quemaduras y, a veces, largas secuelas y baja laboral. Desde hace unos cuantos años, en lugares de trabajo europeos se utiliza otro sistema que consiste en una solución de descontaminación activa para los ojos y la piel, la "diphoterine", una molécula polivalente, hipertónica, anfótera y quelante</abstract>
