Title: A New technique to calibrate optical particle counters aerodynamically / B.T. Chen, J.A. Tang and H.C. YehAuthor: Chen, B.T.
Notes: Sumario: The authors developed a technique using a two-stage, Lovelace virtual impactor to classify aerodynamically a monodisperse aerosol for calibration of OPCs (optical particle counter). The advantages of this method are that (1) classified aerosols can be introduced directly into the OPC to compare the optical response with the aerodynamic size and (2) only one sampling is needed to provide a calibration point. Using this technique, a two-stage virtual impactor can be used as the sampling inlet of an OPC for aerodynamic calibration of aerosols in the fieldRelated records: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 51, nº 1, January 1990 ; p. 32-35Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Aerosoles Contaminación atmosférica Metrología OPC Partículas ambientales Muestreos Control de contaminantes Otros autores: Tang, J.A.
