Title: The Head dome : a simplified method for human exposures to inhaled air pollutants / Stephen M. Bowes, Robert Frank and David L. SwiftAuthor: Bowes, Stephen M.
Notes: Sumario: The objective of the present study was to develop a simple, head-only exposure system that permitted unfettered breathing unstable pollutant, i.e., artificial acid fog, to volunteers at rest and during exercise. After finding several commercially available supplied-air hoods unsatisfactory, the authors constructed a lightweight, rigid hood, a "head dome", and examined its suitability as a head-only exposure system for human studiesRelated records: En: American Industrial Hygiene Association journal. - Akron, Ohio. - Vol. 51, nº 5, May 1990 ; p. 257-260Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Diseño Ergonomía Equipos respiratorios Control de la contaminación Métodos de análisis Inhalación Contaminación atmosférica Contaminantes químicos Otros autores: Frank, Robert
