Title: Structural nerve changes at wrist level in workers exposed to vibration / Trygve Strömberg... [et al.]
Notes: Sumario: To analyse the character of morphological changes occurring in a well defined peripheral nerve in humans exposed to vibration from hand held tools. Vibration can induce structural changes in peripheral nerves just proximal to the wrist and such changes may constitute a structural component in carpal tunnel syndrome among people exposed to vibration. This may help to explain the poor results achieved by carpal tunnel release in these patientsRelated records: En: Occupational and environmental medicine. - London and Margate. - Vol. 54, nº 5, May 1997 ; p. 307-311Materia / lugar / evento: Medicina laboral Contaminantes físicos Vibraciones Extremidades superiores Sistema Nervioso Periférico Síndrome del Túnel Carpiano Otros autores: Strömberg, Trygve
