<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Según el Health Council of the Netherlands, el riesgo de cáncer de piel de un trabajador al aire libre es CINCO VECES MAYOR que el de una persona que trabaja en el interior. En España, el 18% de la población activa está expuesta directamente a la radiación solar. El riesgo de quemadura solar sigue existiendo incluso en invierno y en días nublados (el 90% de la radiación ultravioleta atraviesa las nubes). La exposición ocupacional tiene efecto acumulativo y más de la mitad de los pacientes con alto riesgo de reactividad cutánea o, que por su actividad diaria están todo el año expuestos al sol durante horas, no utiliza fotoprotección. </abstract>
