<abstract displayLabel="Summary">A través de este artículo analizamos el régimen legal aplicable a los seguros agrícolas, deteniéndonos en el estudio pormenorizado de la Ley 87-1978, de 28 de diciembre de seguros agrarios combinados. Con este objetivo se profundiza en el principio de solidaridad, la cooperación de los sectores público y privado, su obligatoriedad, así como en los tres elementos clásicos que componen todo contrato: el subjetivo, objetivo y formal. No obstante, para no olvidar su aplicación práctica, se han examinado la determinación de la indemnización en caso de siniestro, su tasación y la entrada en vigor de la misma, entre otras. </abstract>
