That supply chain will often be made up of a mix of tangible products and less tangible knowledge-based services, ranging from the business critical tier-one variety to the tertiary, the latter of which you never really believe will impact your profits. Supply chain liabilities or related loss of business can result from causes as severe as natural disasters to even the most mundane of day-to-day administrative activities. But two things remain common for either type of supply chain disruption, according to Grant Foster, Head of ERM at Aon Risk Solutions: You cant plan for everything, and the actual risks in the supply chain are always clear with hindsight </abstract>
