<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El Consejo de Ministros va a aprobar la reforma del baremo, sistema de cálculo de la indemnización a las víctimas de accidentes de tráfico. Se trataba de una petición que ha tardado unos años en hacerse realidad. El malestar de las asociaciones de víctimas y de muchos actores impacientados en esta modificación era comprensible: el baremo no se ha modificado en 20 años y, por supuesto, dado su arcaísmo, no recogía hasta ahora las nuevas realidades que se viven en nuestro país, como los cambios que han llevado a nuevos tipos de familias o los avances médicos, que han convertido las secuelas permanentes en incapacidades temporales. Pero lo que es más importante: con esta reforma, por fin se logrará una mejora en las indemnizaciones</abstract>
