<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Alojamientos turísticos y campings pueden acogerse desde hace años al sistema de etiqueta ecológica europea. También pueden, junto con el resto de los proveedores de servicios turísticos, adherirse al sistema comunitario de gestión y auditoría medioambiental (EMAS). Pero en el marco de este último acaba de aparecer el Documento de Referencia Sectorial para el turismo, aprobado por la Decisión (UE) 2016/611 de la Comisión, de 15 de abril de 2016; un documento que este trabajo se propone glosar destacando las principales novedades que, desde un punto de vista estrictamente jurídico, a primera vista suscita.</abstract>
