Publicación: London : Hiscox, 2016Notas: Sumario: This is the eighth edition of the Hiscox DNA of an Entrepreneur report. The findings of this study are based on responses from 4,000 owners and senior executives in businesses with fewer than 50 employees across Europe (France, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain United Kingdom) and the USA: The major pick-up in growth recorded in 2014 and 2015 has been sustained in 2016, but despite a third year of growth the outlook is more clouded. At a time when central banks are doing all in their power to deter commercial banks from sitting on spare cash, it might be expected that small- and medium-sized companies would be finding it easier to borrow. Sadly, this year's report shows little sign of that happening. More than half of UK small firms say Britain's departure from the EU, so-called 'Brexit', will have no impact. But for a significant minority the effect is likely to be negative. Furthermore, not only is political instability a concern, so is government support for entrepreneurs. Just 28% of respondents globally said 'yes' or 'in most cases yes', when asked whether they believe their government's policies are supportive of entrepreneurs little changed on the previous year's 30%Materia / lugar / evento: Pequeñas y medianas empresas Trabajadores autónomos Perspectivas económicas Creación de empresas Administración de empresas Estudios comparativos Francia Alemania Países Bajos España Reino Unido Estados Unidos Otras clasificaciones: 922.1
