<abstract displayLabel="Summary">There has been much discussion in recent years concerning the prospects for and growth of digital insurance. However, this is an extremely broad and complex subject that is relevant to almost every aspect of the insurance value chain and that pertains to all types of cover whether life, health or non-life insurance and whether bought by individual consumers or commercial enterprises. This study does not attempt to address all elements but it does seek to generate new insights into the advance of digital insurance as acquired and managed by individual consumers.</abstract>
