<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Este artículo estudia los retos y las oportunidades a los que se enfrentan las start-ups españolas comparándolas con empresas ya establecidas y con start-ups internacionales. En primer lugar, se analizan los elementos característicos de las start-ups que suponen ventajas y desventajas frente a otros modelos de negocio. En segundo lugar, se comparan start-ups españolas y europeas según el nivel de riqueza y el acceso a financiación. Y, en tercer lugar, se detalla la situación del ecosistema español en función de diferentes variables a través de un análisis descriptivo y de la relación entre las características y su valoración de mercado.
