<abstract displayLabel="Summary">The Spanish insurance industry plays a significant role in the country's financial landscape, with insurance premiums accounting for approximately 5% of the Spanish GDP and serving as a crucial pillar of stability and protection for individuals and businesses. With gross premiums reaching approximately EUR 57 billion in the first nine months of 2023, we believe the size of the Spanish insurance industry will exceed pre-pandemic levels by the end of the year and continue its upward trend to more than EUR 80 billion in the next five years.
