<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Los autores de este articulo destacan la relevancia de la la Ley de Reducción de la Inflación (IRA) como instrumento de estímulo de las inversiones conducentes a la descarbonización. De hecho, los autores señalan que las estimaciones iniciales sobre el volumen de créditos fiscales parecen haberse quedado cortas. En ese contexto, la UE se encuentra en una situación estratégica compleja, ya que medidas drásticas para contrarrestar la IRA podrían desencadenar una nueva guerra comercial con Estados Unidos, un escenario que probablemente beneficiaría a adversarios comerciales. La respuesta europea ha sido básicamente regulatoria, complementada con instrumentos que aborden algunos de los principales desequilibrios generados por la IRA</abstract>
