Sustainable Financial Regulations and Central Bank Activities (SUSREG) assesses how environmental and social risks are integrated into regulatory and supervisory practices, as well as into central banking and other financial activities that support the reorientation of financial flows towards more sustainable practices. The objective of the assessment is to help central banks and financial supervisors benchmark their policies against emerging regional and global best practices, with the overall goal of reorienting financial flows towards sustainable practices and shifting lending, underwriting and investment away from the most environmentally damaging companies and sectors, in support of a net-zero, nature-positive economy
