The paper examines in detail the reporting chain, associated costs, and opportunities for harmonisation, standardisation, and data reuse. It also reviews reporting on derivatives, collective investment undertakings, and sustainability, and invites market participants to provide feedback. The ultimate objective is to improve efficiency, reduce compliance costs, and strengthen financial supervision within the European Union</dc:description>
