Título: Policies for supporting caregivers of older adults with long-term care needs in EU countries : a systematic review / Eva Bei, Marco Albertini and Federico TothAutor: Bei, Eva
Notas: Sumario: This systematic review analyses policies supporting informal caregivers of older adults with long-term care needs across European Union countries. Drawing on 35 academic and grey literature sources published between 2011 and 2025, it examines financial, labour market and in-kind support measures. The study highlights strong cross-national and intra-national variation, shaped by welfare regimes and decentralisation. Nordic and Continental countries tend to offer more comprehensive support, while Southern and Eastern Europe rely more heavily on family care. The findings provide policy-relevant insights into gaps, inequalities and future directions for long-term care systems in ageing societiesRegistros relacionados: En: European Journal of Ageing : social, behavioural and health perspectives. - Cham, Switzerland [etc.] : Springer International Publishing AG, 2021-. - 21/12/2026 Volumen 22 Número 2 - 2026 , 31 p.Materia / lugar / evento: Envejecimiento de la población Política social Bienestar Longevidad Personas mayores Dependencia Unión Europea Otros autores: Albertini, Marco Toth, Federico Springer Nature Otras clasificaciones: 921.4
