<abstract>El objetivo de esta obra es presentar un conjunto de testimonios no solamente dirigidos a los empresarios sino también a los responsables de las Iglesias. Su interés es el de reunir y cotejar una gran variedad de puntos de vista, si bien todos ellos se asientan en la Doctrina Social de la Iglesia. El plan de la presente obra consta de dos grandes partes. En la primera, "mensaje de las Iglesias", se han reunido algunos textos importantes, principalmente textos pontificios posteriores a 1965. La segunda parte, "mensaje de los responsables económicos", consta de tres capítulos: el primero sobre la idea de progreso, el segundo sobre la globalización y el tercero sobre las expectativas hacia las Iglesias</abstract>
