<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Entre las obligaciones que tiene el asegurado, se encuentra la de declarar al asegurador las circunstancias o hechos importantes para que pueda apreciar correctamente el riesgo que asume en el contrato de seguro. Es, pues, ésta un obligación anterior a la celebración del contrato de seguro, que las leyes imponen como carga al proponente en beneficio del asegurador, cuyo incumplimiento puede traer como consecuencia la liberación total o parcial del contrato.</abstract>
