<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Este artículo incluye los estudios realizados sobre el trabajo en frío por el INRS (Institut National de Recherche et de Sécurité) de Francia, para determinar la eficacia de la medición de la temperatura cutánea del dorso de la mano para determinar la aflicción térmica de los trabajadores de esta actividad. Se llega a la conclusión, a través de estos estudios, que los trabajos en frío artificial no plantean problemas de aflicción térmica o sensomotora, sin embargo, deben adoptarse unas precauciones para mejorar las condiciones de trabajo, como son las siguientes: un régimen de pausas adaptado a las necesidades personales, la supresión de tareas que conlleven finos movimientos de los dedos, elección vestuario adecuado y una rigurosa vigilancia médica</abstract>
