Sumario: The small businesses really have a much better chance of assuring workplace safety than a larger company. It's all a question of scale. A smaller shop certainly does not equal lesser hazards. But it makes sense that the more manageable the workplace, the better off you can be, from a safety point of view. The first step that experts recommend is the type of "safety audit" that identifies and catalogues the number of employees, their job description, the type of equipment they use and the hazard potential in their work spaces
