<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Afin d'aider l'utilisateur dans son choix, l'INRS a procédé à plusieurs campagnes de mesure de l'affaiblissement acoustique apporté par les protecteurs individuels de l'ouie classiques (ou "passifs"), en utilisant unes mesures subjectives et objectives pour choisir efficcacement des quelques protecteur disponibles sur le marché, qui posèdent une bonne conjonction des qualités confort et affaiblissement acoustique. Il contient les points suivants: matériel testé, les mesures d'affaiblissement acoustique, les résultats d'essais, choix d'un appareil et limites d'utilisation</abstract>
