<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Una gran parte de la actividad de una empresa se basa en productos y servicios que recibe del exterior. El conocimiento de estos riesgos, su análisis y tratamiento suponen un campo todavía no muy desarrollado y que debe ser tomado en consideración por la gerencia de riesgos en íntima colaboración con los Departamentos de Compras y Producción, al efecto de establecer aquellas medidas de prevención, seguridad y aseguramiento y control de calidad del proveedor y establecer dentro de los propios seguros de la empresa compradora coberturas claras para riesgos producidos por proveedores</abstract>
