La note rappelle ses propriétés et analyse les risques que présentent son stockage et son emploi. Elle étudie ensuite les installations de stérilisation et les mesures techniques de prévention. Il est recommande avant tout: d'utiliser l'oxyde d'éthylène en mélange inexplosif; d'assurer les conditions d'emploi garatissant une protection efficace en veillant à la bonne implantation de la celule de stérilisation et à la mise en place des différents organes techniques de sécurité</abstract>
