<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Après un rappel des conaissances sur les écrans, les auteurs présentent l'étude expérimentale de l'éfficacité d'un écran acoustique dans un local industriel dans deux situations fréquentes dans la pratique: l'écran est interposé entre un poste de travail et une machine proche; l'écran masque une machine bruyante située à l'extrémité du local, dans lequel des tâches peu bruyantes sont exécutées. L'étude théorique du même écran placé dans le même local a été ensuite effectuée pour divers traitements acoustiques des parois du local simulés sur ordinateur. Enfin, la comparaison de plusieurs approches prévisionnelles, pour le même local et pour deux cas de traitement acoustique des parois, met en évidence le rôle de la diffraction due à l'écran, rôle qui est prépondérant si le local est très absorbant</abstract>
